Approaching over the Norwegian fjords.

From Tromso we sailed on the Goxsheim, a beautiful 25m wooden boat built in the 20's, see the web site of the Goxsheim .

Snarby is the starting place for cimbing the Ullstinden (1094 m), not much snow due to a previous week of unusually warm temperatures. [Top of page]

From Akkarvik, we climbed the Trolldastind (850m). We Found a hut close to the TV mast where we we could rest and eat shielded from cold wind.

Climbing the Kägtinden (1165m), here on the way down
We then sailed to Lyngseidet to climb the Kvalvikfellet (1289m) and Havness to climb th Kjevagtinden (1064m), Havness was a resting day for some of ours due to poor weather conditions.

Storvoll was the starting point to the Stor Galten (1219m), one of the most beautiful place with simply perfect snow conditions.
