Introduction

Departing from Bex (LSGB) we passed abeam the always magnificent glacier of Aletsch heading to Simplon Pass and Locarno.

Once over Italy, we continued over the Garda lake to VIC, CHI and finally landed in Pula (LDPL) for customs clearance, although we learned later that Losinj could do it. 

Below, the approach to Pula, feeling like the Bahamas.

25 minutes later we landed on RWY 20 at the airport of Losinj (LDLO). The latter is located 12 km from the city of Veli Losinj:

 

The most beautiful place is th eCikat bay with its pure cristalline water.

The next morning we flew to the the unique and unspoiled island of Unije, which can be reached either by land or air. No cars, no traffic, no roads but a charming little village. The RWY is clearly visible from the left of the grassy and flat area below

When departing from Losinj, we flew over the citiy of Pula.
